Visual Artist Derrick Hayes

            Millions of people worldwide where inspired by the visual and fine art of  Derrick Hayes. Hayes was born in the United States in San Diego CA on October  30, 1973. His parents  migrated to California  from the South  Hayes. It was at an early age Hayes was taught the ancient Visual Arts of his forefathers from Africa by his father and the "oral tradition" from his  mother a legacy that was passed down from generation to generation. As an adolescence he attended  the San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts graduating in 1991. After graduation from S.D.S.C.P.A  Hayes  he attended the University of California Santa Barbara were he began his study in Fine Arts.

            Currently the global community  have  been inspired by all of  his  art giving insight into politics, love, and illustrations. His art has made several predictions like  an oil pastel depiction of President Barack Obama in the work entitled, "Obama 2012", before the historic ending of the political campaign Hayes work predicted an Obama victory  with the now in is second term wisdom reflected though is silver maned hair, The President in a patriot gaze towards the future past 2013  in the spirit of two_term President; the flag drapes him, as though to symbolize is call to duty and action and his legacy .You can view "Obama 2012" and other works or purchase prints following this link http://www.derrick-hayes.artistwebsites.com/ . 

         Hayes's  other work's include which include , "Uprisings", about the political and urban unrest in Egypt. Greece has favored  his  immortal "Athena Goddess of War". He has chronicled the worldwide struggles through 'Rebirth of the Movement" and "Free Pussy Riot", which still today is relevant with the continued political imprisonments of the female artists in Russia. Other works focus on race some even on religion. Hayes is known for his political illustrated novel entitled THE CONZSTABLE  in it the drama of a black superhero with superhuman gifts. Hayes in 2013 continues his study of the fine arts rarely making public appearances.
